Upon arrival, we discovered that there's convenient parking available in the basement of the hill, close to the Shri Mallikarjuna Swami Temple. The trek begins right after a set of stairs leading to the temple. From there, follow the path that takes you up the hill. You won't need a guide, as the trail is well-marked.
